AMP Visual TV

COP21 is underway

Cop21

Paris recently hosted talks between world leaders regarding climate change. The COP21 conference took place between 30 November and 11 December at the Paris-Le Bourget site, where AMP VISUAL TV was in charge of filming in all three conference rooms.

During this global event, we worked alongside AV France to provide 24/7 visual broadcasting of the debates to the entire world. Overall, around 12 cameras and more than a hundred technicians were involved.

The Extender 2 was present, as its versatility is ideal for all the convention's specific requirements. Here, it was configured to manage the filming process for two of the conference rooms. It boasts two video control boards and two separate audio control boards, with a production space behind the cameras for each conference room. This configuration allows for shared management whilst maintaining a high level of security, in order to handle the production requirements for worldwide broadcasting.

A powerful, compact truck (the City 1) was in charge of filming in the conference room 1.

These images were shown around the world.

With regards to COP21, it's also worth noting As part of COP21, on 8 December we also covered a conference held at the National Assembly, as well as an original creation, "Glaciers", at the Théâtre des Abbesses in Paris (18th District).
