The A380 lands in West Africa for the first time

A380 Abidjan

The Airbus A380 has touched Ivorian soil for the first time. Our team was on site at Abidjan airport to ensure this exceptional landing was captured on video.

On Tuesday 28 January at 18:51, the A380 landed in West Africa for the first time, at Abidjan airport. Our car B made sure this highly symbolic moment for the region's economic takeoff received coverage. Our three-person team (video technician, sound technician and production director), familiar with the Ivory Coast, joined six local technicians trained to our expertise. 4 cameras were used, including one with a long focus (72x), a lens very rarely used in the region. The resulting programme was broadcast by Air France during an reception event. Baptised by firemen upon its arrival, the A380 landed the day before the opening of the Invest in the Côte d'Ivoire (ICI) forum, for which we ensured the coverage of the plenary meetings.
