MONACO BROADCAST and AMP VISUAL TV are partners. Together they are launching the only TV studio in Monaco. "It is thanks to Jérôme Revon, a director and producer, that we were put in contact with Gilles Sallé, Director General of AMP VISUAL TV at the Monaco royal wedding. It seemed to him essential that a high-performance tool should exist in Monaco," states Stéphane Morandi, Director of Monaco Broadcast.

The tool has some key advantages. An ideal location on Monaco's Port Hercule means that it is at the heart of events taking place in the principality (Formula 1 Grand Prix, Monte-Carlo rally, etc). With a surface area of 280m², the studio can accommodate an audience of around 50 people and also boasts a complete infrastructure, including a reception room, make-up room and two VIP dressing rooms.

The studio's HD production unit has been designed and built with teams from AMP VISUAL TV. Built on a flight case model, it is extremely modular and offers OB functionality. "This unit will enable us to radiate across the south of France and avoid extra costs such as access costs that can be as high as 30%," says Gilles Sallé.

Alongside TV recording, the studio and its production unit are suitable for recording events, as well as making advertisements and music videos.
The official inauguration of this new TV studio took place on Tuesday 15 January 2013 in the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
