No rest for TV Festival!

tv festival

The Visual flight case control room was installed during the most famous two weeks in the global film industry alongside the famous walk up the Steps for TV Festival, the official channel of the Cannes Festival.

Throughout the 12-day event, TV Festival provided the exclusive live broadcast of the high points. You were able to relive the best of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, the photo calls, the interviews, the press conferences, and the walk up the Steps for each team of selected films. TV Festival also provided many reports about the various facets of the Festival, the "Un Certain Regard" selection, as well as a behind the scenes view.

From Wednesday May 11 through Sunday May 22, the Visual control room kept the channel on air 24 hrs. per day. It also provided the international signal for the walk up the Steps on May 11!

Nothing is what it seems: the Visual control room is not a light control room! It is a true control room worthy of the best fixed control rooms: a Philips DD35 SD mixer, 2 Digital Betacam video recorders, 60 LCD monitors, a 48 channel digital mixing console, more than 20 mikes including 6 background mikes, 5 RF mikes, and 6 Schoeps mikes, 11 cameras, including 1 heavy long focus SD , 4 light SD cameras, and 6 light wide angle SD cameras. It also included 35 technicians working in a relay each day.
