From 11 June 2016, in order to provide the International feed for the 2016 European Championships, AMP VISUAL TV's OB trucks will be deployed on behalf of UEFA, at the stadiums in Lyon and Saint-Etienne. AMP VISUAL TV is also the only French provider to film the tournament in Ultra-HD (4K/UHD), featuring two matches from the final phase that will take place in Bordeaux and Lyon.

AMP VISUAL TV is also the only French provider to film the tournament in Ultra-HD (4K/UHD), featuring two matches from the final phase that will take place in Bordeaux and Lyon.

AMP VISUAL TV will use the brand new Ultra-HD Millennium Signature 12 truck for the quarter-final in Bordeaux, followed by the semi-final in Lyon.

The equipment required to achieve this coverage consists of 12 cameras (Sony HDC-4300s), plus a helicopter, an aerial dolly and 1 beauty camera, shared with HD production. This is one of the first events to be covered by the latest addition to AMP VISUAL TV's fleet of OB trucks, after the Le Mans 24 Hours.

AMP VISUAL TV will be deploying a dedicated UHD 4K production truck for French TV channels TF1 and M6 at the International Broadcast Center (located at Paris Expo, at the Porte de Versailles), which will act as the nerve centre for the Euro 2016 communications operation.

International feeds from the stadiums will have captions added (logos, titles, etc.) using a new IT software solution that includes an onboard 4K recorder. A RIEDEL Mediornet infrastructure allows the various signals to be routed to the TF1 and M6 head-ends. Programmes will be broadcast on the new Orange Livebox (TF1 channel 98, M6 channel 99).

Remember, AMP VISUAL TV supplies production resources - in addition to the International feed for all EURO 2016 matches in Lyon and Saint Etienne - for TF1 and M6 private programs for all matches that they show from all host stadiums.

And to round it all off, Studios Rive Gauche in Paris is hosting BeIN Sports daily show (Euro show) throughout the entire tournament.
