Ballon d'Or
The 2011 Ballon d'Or was awarded Monday January 10. Live from the FIFA headquarters in Zurich, a live event in 164 countries.
The 2010 Ballon d'Or was a marriage between the "best FIFA player of the year" and the "Ballon d'Or" from the newspaper, France Football; it became a global event followed by every country in the world.

An important system was set up in Zurich: 12 cameras and more than thirty technicians were on site to produce this annual event. Van 11 set up close to the FIFA headquarters. Produced live, this award show was broadcast Monday night in France on Eurosport and in 164 other countries.
Messi: Ballon d'Or 2010 !
Lionel Messi received the Ballon d'Or this year! While everyone thought that Spaniard Andres Iniesta would win, Messi took home the title again. The die was cast otherwise because instead of an award for a player based solely on the World Cup, the record for the whole year was recognized. A second consecutive victory for the Argentinian!
