Davis Cup in Switzerland

The first weekend in February was a chance for our Lyon teams to work for RTS at matches for the Davis Cup. Our Millénium 5 van parked near the Palexpo in Geneva for the three days of play opposing the Swiss and Czech teams. We were responsible for the RTS set and for receiving signals from the commentators' desks. RF has its mettle tested at the Ski Classics

Yet again, our expert RF service is sought after abroad: we were chosen to retransmit the Ski Classics championship. For the first time, we are in charge of RF links for the various races in this long-distance cross-country skiing championship which takes place across Europe. -
Birth announcement: the Millenium 3 hits the road

The arrival of a new van is always an event, and we could not be more proud to bring this new model into service. The Millenium 3 reflects our determination to continuously enhance our range of latest-generation semi-HD OB vans. After a period of thorough preparation, the van went on its first mission this weekend. -
So much that's new in a single year

2012 was a truly eventful year. Rare are years in which we see so many new things. Looking back, in no particular order, there were the four (yes, four!) brand new production unit vans, a flight case production unit that has taken up residence in Monaco, a fixed HD production unit and a vast array of new tools necessary for the fast-changing world of television. -
A new TV studio in Monaco

MONACO BROADCAST and AMP VISUAL TV can now jointly offer a new TV studio in Monaco. With 280m² on the port of Monaco, it has a structure and location with vast potential. The official inauguration took place on 15 January 2013. -
The ratings winner in 2012, broadcast by AMP VISUAL TV

When the time comes to take stock, the release of the ratings figures is an inescapable event. Who drew the largest French audience to TV screens in 2012? With an audience of 13.3 million and a market share of 53.2% (*), TF1 was the victor with the show Le Bal des Enfoirés, which pulled in the crowds. -

The Dakar - a legendary race in exceptional conditions, and a true sporting and televisual challenge. For many years, AMP VISUAL TV has participated in the broadcast of the world's most famous rally. Once again, another of our RF teams travelled to Peru this year to the race's start line. -
Tribute and communication

On Sunday 11th November, the French President paid his traditional tribute to soldiers who have died in action. AMP VISUAL TV was responsible for the international signal as well as the private France 3 signal. Two days later, our teams were tasked with a new mission at the Elysée Palace for the first press conference to be held by the French government under François Hollande.
